Mennica Goldar sells investment coins and bars and buys them back. We built a shop that calculates prices from metal quotes, exchange rates and margins, separately for sale and buy-back.
Gold, silver, platinum and palladium, plus USD and EUR exchange rates.
Separate for sale and buy-back, with quantity tiers.
Sale price, buy-back price and quote validity next to the product.
A coin's value depends on the metal it's made of. When the quote or the exchange rate changes, the price on the website is no longer up to date.
Without automation every product would have to be recalculated by hand: quote, exchange rate, margin - and again with every change.
The same product has a sale price and a buy-back price, and both can depend on the quantity. One margin isn't enough.
The bar at the top of the shop shows the quotes of four metals and the USD and EUR exchange rates from which product prices are calculated.
The countdown next to the product shows how long the price is valid. When the time is up, the shop refreshes the quote.
A product can have several quantity tiers with a separate sale and buy-back price. The customer sees them before adding the product to the cart.
The starting point is the value of the metal in the product. The system multiplies it by separate sale and buy-back margins.
The pricing uses gold, silver, platinum and palladium quotes, and shows prices in PLN, EUR and USD, in the Polish and English versions of the shop.
From the quote to the cart, the price always has its source and an expiry time.
